Arguments why we do not dance in our church worship

Arguments why we do not dance in our church worship:
1. In the Old Testament, there was no record that there is dancing inside the tabernacle of temple.
2. The New Testament was written to be the guidelines, rule of faith and practice of the church. There was never a record of Christians dancing in the New Testament.
3. Nowhere in the Bible Jesus danced. Jesus did sing an hymn but he never danced. If Jesus danced, we should dance, we should follow His footsteps; but Jesus never danced and we should neither. (Matt. 26:30; Mark 14:26; Heb. 2:12)
4. Nowhere in the New Testament that the Apostles danced. There is no verse in the New Testament concerning Christians who are dancing.
5. Apostle Paul never danced. Nowhere in the writing of Paul that he danced or encouraged dancing.
6. It was recorded in the Bible that John the Baptist was beheaded because of Salome’s dance.
7. The Bible says that we should worship the Lord in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16)
